Here’s a look at area schools with open dates for the 2014 football season, according to the OHSAA.

Week 1 (Aug. 29-30)

Villa Angela-St. Joseph: The Vikings played Our Lady of the Lakes (Mich.) in this spot in 2013.

Week 2 (Sept. 5-6)

Benedictine: The Bengals played at Steubenville in 2013.

Harvey: The Red Raiders played Fairport in 2013.

Week 4 (Sept. 19-20)

Kirtland: This listing appears to be outdated, because the Hornets are reportedly playing VASJ

Week 5 (Sept. 26-27)

Hawken: The Hawks played Newbury in 2013. The Black Knights are leaving the CVC for the Northeast Athletic Conference, leaving the combined Metro and Valley Divisions with an odd number of teams.

VASJ: The Vikings played at Portsmouth Notre Dame in 2013

Week 6 (Oct. 3-4)

Gilmour: The Lancers played Open Door in 2013
