In light of the events of the week in the NFL, it will be
interesting to see how Colt McCoy’s career unfolds.
McCoy, the once and most likely no longer Browns
quarterback, could live a long, healthy life and have a successful NFL career. But
it isn’t trending that way.
On Dec. 8, McCoy received a vicious blow to the head from
the Steelers’ James Harrison (Associated Press photo). He was allowed to re-enter because his concussion
symptoms weren’t recognized right away, and he ended up sitting out the final
three games of the season.
Now the Browns have drafted his presumed replacement,
McCoy is a commodity, and if he isn’t needed anymore, he’ll
be quickly forgotten. Such is life in the NFL.
